Puja spirit has set in. The puspanjali had a great turnout. This was followed by the typical Astami mahabhoj with luchi, cholar dal, badhakopir dalna, kumror chokka, payesh and finally rounded off with Banccharam's pantoa

As Sandhi puja coincided with the prime time for the cultural functions, the Dhunuchi had to be curtailed. Neetika (5D/1) enthralled the audience with a well-composed dance rendition (the song was presented by Smt Shila Mukherjee )
